Services and Service Provision: Clear and Transparent

With our new collaboration model, we are improving our services and service provision in a way that is both desired and necessary. By standardizing services and agreements, we can offer our services more efficiently and at competitive rates. If the agreed-upon services are not fulfilled, you will receive compensation.

Overview of Services and Service Provision.

The obligation and costs of the services listed below depend on the chosen user model.

Park Service Contribution (PSB)
The PSB covers the daily costs for the maintenance and safety of the holiday park. This ensures a clean, safe, and professional appearance for everyone visiting the park.

Multi-Year Maintenance Plan (MJOP)
The MJOP outlines periodic maintenance and replacement work for the central facilities in the park (such as painting, road surfacing, and pool maintenance). For parks without an MJOP, the cost item "Necessary Works" (NZW) is currently applied. Owners contribute annually to the MJOP.

Mandatory Accommodation Services
A number of services are mandatory due to safety and hygiene regulations or legal requirements, such as the maintenance of heating sources and utility network management.

Advance Payment and Settlement of GWE
Owners pay an annual advance and settlement for gas, water, and electricity (GWE). The advance is based on the expected consumption. Recently, a new calculation methodology has been introduced in collaboration with the owners to ensure a fairer cost settlement.

Rental Service Package
Certain services are necessary for rental of the property through EuroParcs to keep the property attractive for guests. Owners who offer their property for rental through EuroParcs must take these services, unless otherwise agreed in the user model.

Outdoor Service Package
This package includes garden maintenance and cleaning of the exterior of the property (facade, windows, terrace, and gutters). It contributes to an attractive appearance and quality maintenance of the property and surroundings. In consultation with the Owners' Association (BVE), it is determined per park whether this package is mandatory or optional.

Optional Services
EuroParcs offers optional services such as post-use cleaning or renting an extra parking space. These optional services can be taken as desired, provided they are available at the park.

Leasehold & Ground Lease
For owners who do not own the plot, costs for leasehold and/or ground lease may be charged, depending on the agreements within the chosen user model.

Improvements in Cost Structure and Transparency

In the past, we worked with park-wide rates, but now costs are differentiated per park to ensure they are appropriate and cost-covering. Additionally, we are implementing the following improvements:

Transparency:
We consult with the BVE board and any potential advisory group about park services and rates. Annually, there is an opportunity to jointly assess which services can be improved and where savings may be possible.

Quality:
We make clear agreements regarding the service quality you can expect from EuroParcs. If a service is not delivered as agreed, you can report this through an updated complaints procedure.

Flexibility in Mandatory Services:
Where possible, we make services optional in different user models. This reduces mandatory costs for owners, who can, if desired, manage the execution themselves. Which services are mandatory depends, among other factors, on the park’s health and safety requirements (for example, maintenance of heating sources and fire safety). We work closely with the BVE board and an advisory group to determine which services are considered mandatory.
