Discover the glittering water of the Veluwemeer, the traditional Dutch polder landscape and the vast forests at our holiday park EuroParcs Veluwemeer. Splashing about in the outdoor pool, exploring the area by bike or by boat, learning to sail… EuroParcs Veluwemeer is the ideal holiday park for young and old. It's not without reason EuroParcs Veluwemeer has won the Silver Zoover Award 2019 (for the second time)!
Nature lovers can't beat their luck in the beautiful surroundings of EuroParcs Veluwemeer. Polders as far as the eye can see, beautiful forests and vast moors, the diversity of the landscape in the vicinity of Nunspeet is great! And we can't forget the Veluwemeer, where there's a beautiful view from EuroParcs Veluwemeer over the rippling water and where the water recreation options are endless. Whether you want to go boating, kayaking, pedal boating, sailing, surfing or just want to swim in natural water… it's all possible in the Veluwemeer. From Nunspeet you can make endless cycling and walking tours in the vast forests near Vierhouten, Elspeet and Epe. The sand plains in the Veluwe are also beautiful to see. Hulshorster Zand and De Haere Doornspijk, for example.
On the Veluwe you will find countless cozy and historic villages, each with its own story. For example, Nunspeet is an artists' village and Vierhouten is the culinary gem of the Veluwe with its Wild Days in October. There are also a number of special Hanseatic cities in Gelderland and the Veluwe that you can discover. The best known of these Hanseatic cities is Harderwijk, where you will be immersed in the history of the Hanseatic era, where you can enjoy shopping and enjoy culinary surprises as a Burgundian. If you are with your children, you could also spend a day here at the Dolfinarium. However, Elburg is also a special Hanseatic town with its picturesque city center with cobbled streets, famous Vischpoort and beautiful harbor. Are you saturated regarding culture and nature and in need of some adrenaline? Then go to Walibi Holland in Biddingshuizen, where you can take endless thrilling roller coaster rides.
In recent years, the attention for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), the environment and sustainability in business has increased. An ever increasing amount of companies has received a quality mark in the form of, for example, a Green Key. We from team EuroParcs Veluwemeer are proud that we can carry this quality mark on our park. With the Green Key we want to show you as our guest that we attach great importance to sustainable business! Read more about the Green Key sustainability label.
