Who, what, where, when
Water, lively cities and nature. All this comes together in EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand. The holiday park is located directly on the banks of the IJsselmeer and you can easily walk to the water from your luxurious, sustainable holiday home or from your glamping tent.
Enkhuizen is located on the easternmost tip of North Holland and is surrounded by water. Thanks to its unique location, Enkhuizen is popular with tourists. Every year the harbor and the fantastic water sports facilities attract many water sports enthusiasts. From your elegant Beach House, light chalet or luxury lodge tent, you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes, where you can dive into the water or lay down your towel. The IJsselmeer is also a great place for (kite)surfing. You can also enjoy (kite) surfing on the IJsselmeer. And what could be more fun than learning to sail during your holiday at the Water sports center in the park? All houses on EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand are sustainably built and equipped with a water pump and solar panels, makinging them gas-free. If you have an accommmodation on the water, you can also enjoy the view.
From EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand you can walk or cycle to the historic center of Enkhuizen where it seems as if no time has passed. The monumental buildings, defenses and the Zuiderzee Museum breathe the atmosphere of the Golden Age. Close by is also the picturesque Medemblik, where old houses and characteristic facades adorn the narrow streets. Take a look at the medieval Radboud castle here or learn everything about brewing beer in the city brewery Radboud. Other interesting cities in the area are Hoorn and the cheese city of Alkmaar.
Unfortunately, cats are not allowed at EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand. This is due to the muncipality's zoning plan, which places extra focus on protecting the surrounding natural environment.
Road works are taking place next to and on the holiday park during the day. We try to limit the inconvenience. If you have any questions about these works, please contact us.

Frequently asked questions
The winter closure is from 8 January 2024 to 12 February 2024. The park will then be closed and you will not be able to stay here.
Our campsite is closed at the end of October. However, it is possible, as long as the holiday park is open, to stay with a self-catering camper with us on the pitches. The sanitary building is closed, so it is only accessible to self-catering campers.
During our winter closure, it is not possible to enter the park, so not even with a self-catering campervan. The entire park will be closed then.
At the end of March, the entire campsite will reopen and so will the sanitary building. It will then be possible again to camp with all means of camping with us.
For more information, see the camping facility on the website or via the EuroParcs app.
There is currently no catering facility on the park. You can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at Strandpaviljoen Enkhuizen within walking distance.
You can swim at Enkhuizerzand Swimming Pool. You can pick up your tickets in the lobby. You can check the opening times of the swimming pool on the Enkhuizerzand website. We have recently opened a beach at the holiday park, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed here.
Your dog is welcome at EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand. Cats are unfortunately not allowed.
Dogs are allowed on the beach near the park, but here too they must be kept on a leash and dog faeces must be cleaned up. Recently, there is also a beach at the holiday park, but dogs are not allowed here. We recommend the Streekbos, 6 minutes by car from the holiday park. Here dogs are allowed to run free in certain areas.
This is not possible on the holiday park. We recommend going to the Visput in Andijk or to Toms Creek in Lelystad.
Not all pitches or accommodation have unobstructed views over the water. This is also clearly shown on the map. Camper spaces have a view of the water, but this may be slightly obstructed by the glamping tents and normal tents in front of the pitches.
