Dear Europarc Buitenhuizen Management,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently had the opportunity to stay at your establishment with my family, including five children aged 6 to 12, and I would like to share some feedback regarding our experience.
First, I would like to commend you on the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. We appreciated the overall quality of the chalets during our stay. However, I would like to highlight a few areas for improvement.
One significant concern was the absence of a slip mat in the shower. Unfortunately, this led to an incident where one of our sons fell, which could have been avoided with proper safety measures in place.
Additionally, while we rented two chalets, we decided to stay together as a family in one. On our checkout day, I encountered an issue with the cooker in our chalet, which had been locked. As I was in the middle of preparing a meal for my children at approximately 11:15 AM, my husband approached the receptionist for assistance. We were informed that the cooker was not locked and that it might be a fault. However, after checking the second chalet, we confirmed that the cooker was functioning properly.
Despite our requests for the unlock of the cooker, we were only given an additional 15 minutes, and the cooker remained locked. As a result, we had to leave our prepared food behind and check out with hungry children, which was quite disappointing.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the location of the chalets near the flight path, which created some disturbances at night.
Given these experiences, I regret to say that I cannot recommend Europarc Buitenhuizen at this time. I hope my feedback will be taken into consideration for future improvements.

Tucked in between the beach and Amsterdam and in the middle of the nature of the Spaarnwoude recreational area, you will find EuroParcs Buitenhuizen. In this holiday park you will find the best of both worlds: you stay in the heart of nature and yet you are close to bustling cities.
Between the great outdoors and the city
Do you opt for a day at the beach or do you prefer to spend your time in the vibrant center of Amsterdam? From EuroParcs Buitenhuizen you can be on the beach in 20 minutes, but in half an hour you can also be in the center of Amsterdam or at Schiphol Airport. At a stone's throw away are the cozy Haarlem and National Park Zuid-Kennemerland. You can cycle and walk endlessly in this adventurous dune landscape. There is a good chance that you will suddenly come face to face with a fallow deer or Scottish highlander!
Wellness and golf
There is also plenty to do at EuroParcs Buitenhuizen. Enjoy your holiday home in the greenery or by the water, jump in the heated outdoor pool or completely relax in the wellness area. Just outside the park is Golf Course Spaarnwoude, the largest golf course in Europe, where golf enthusiasts can play a round.

Our park is situated near Schiphol. Therefore, you may sometimes be disturbed by low-flying airplanes.

Charcoal, gas or electric barbecues are allowed. Coal barbecuing is only possible depending on the weather code www.natuurbrandrisico.nl
There are no barbecues at the park, complete BBQ packages including supplies can be booked via "My EuroParcs" account.
What kind of coffee machine is in the accommodation I booked?
All chalets at holiday park EuroParcs Buitenhuizen have a filter coffee maker or Senseo coffee maker. The comfort connecting rooms have a Nespresso machine.
Is it possible to fish at holiday park EuroParcs Buitenhuizen?
It is possible to fish at the park without a fishing pass. However, the water in some chalets is low. We recommend fishing near the fishing pier (between chalet 474 and 475) at the natural lake.

Holiday park EuroParcs Buitenhuizen has charging stations for the electric car, which can be found at the general car park at the front of the park.

It takes about 30 to 35 minutes by car to Amsterdam Central Station.

My flight is arriving late at Schiphol outside reception opening hours. What should I do?
If you have booked via the EuroParcs website or Guest Service, you can easily adjust your expected arrival time via your My EuroParcs account. EuroParcs Buitenhuizen colleagues will then e-mail you the check-in procedure (outside opening hours) on the day of arrival. If you have booked via another operator, you can change your expected time of arrival up to one day in advance. Please note! The booking must be paid in full.
Are fireworks allowed on holiday park EuroParcs Buitenhuizen?
Around and during the turn of the year (and the rest of the year) it is not allowed to light fireworks on the holiday park. We will check this if possible. There is little or no nuisance from fireworks in the surrounding area.
