Who, what, where, when
Experience the relaxation you get from a panoramic view over a characteristic polder landscape, which has been formed over the centuries. At this holiday park you can enjoy the twinkling of the water, the landscape and you can completely relax in a historic environment with luxurious and comfortable amenities.
EuroParcs Markermeer has a fantastic location in North Holland. From a sheltered location you look out over the beautiful Dutch waters, where the flute ships (fluitschepen) used to pass by. The fact that these ships no longer sail here, does certainly not mean that this place has lost its charm. The Markermeer is still a beautiful part of the Netherlands. From your holiday home you can take a dip in the lake and enjoy the sun while laying on the grass. The children will also have a great time in the playgrounds. The West Frisian environment of EuroParcs Markermeer offers many recreational opportunities. You can enjoy beautiful walks and bicycle tours in the wooded landscape!
The natural landscape in the vicinity of EuroParcs Markermeer is not the only beautiful thing: there is a lot to see and discover regarding the traditional Dutch culture and history. The history of the Golden Age really comes to life in Enkhuizen, with its monumental buildings, defense works and of course the Zuiderzee Museum. This also applies to Hoorn, which was one of the most important trading centers for the V.O.C. There is plenty to do for young and old in the vicinity of EuroParcs Markermeer.
