Pastures as far as the eye can see, glittering lakes, cosy towns, National Parks and even the Wadden Sea. Every region of Friesland has its own unique character. The south-west of Friesland is mainly known for the Frisian Lakes, which are all connected to each other. Everything here is about water recreation.
