These routes are particularly suitable for families with children as they are not too demanding and are scenic. Of course, always take your children's previous experience into account to choose a route that they can master.

Bread and Morenden Trail

• Length: 11.35 km

• Time: 3.5 hours

• Starting point: Culture and leisure centre in Klebas near Liesing in the Lesach Valley

The Bread and Morenden Trail is about an hour's drive from Hermagor. However, the culinary highlights along the route make the hiking trail ideal for families with older children.

Slowtrail - view of the Dolomites (return by boat)

• Length: 8.53 km

• Time: 2.5 hours

• Starting point: Neusach at Weissensee

You can reach the starting point by car in around 30 minutes. The Slowtrail - Dolomitenblick runs along Lake Weissensee. At the end of the trail, take the ferry back to Neusach at the Dolomitenblick boat stop.
