Who, what, where, when
In the beautiful valley of the Our, in the middle of the Luxembourg Ardennes with forests as far as the eye can see, lies EuroParcs Kohnenhof. The holiday park has a fantastic location right on the meandering Our river, which also forms the natural border with Germany. Unspoilt nature, picturesque towns and the strategic location with Germany on the other side of the river make this holiday park a very special holiday destination.
Rolling mountains, green valleys and colourful forests characterise the picturesque landscape of the Eislek region. Nature lovers and action lovers will be in their element here. The bridge from EuroParcs Kohnenhof is directly connected to the magnificent nature, making the holiday park the ideal starting point for your hiking, cycling and even mountain biking tours. Let yourself be surprised by the hidden gems that unspoilt nature has in store for you. Little Switzerland in the Mullerthal for example, with its fairytale-like waterfalls and flora. Or, on warmer days, take a dip in Luxembourg's first natural swimming pond at AquaNat'Our in Hosingen.
From EuroParcs Kohnenhof, you can explore a number of tourist towns. Like the medieval town of Vianden with its gothic buildings, romantic streets and cultural heritage. A real showpiece here is the castle of Vianden on top of a hill, which has been in the hands of the family of Orange-Nassau since the 15th century. Luxembourg is also rich in impressive chateaus and estates that you will come across time and again. Like the white castle of Clervaux, an enchanting town in the north. The Clervaux Abbey with its church and shop on top of the hill is definitely worth a visit when you are in Clervaux. Explore the mysterious corridors of the copper mine in Stolzembourg, together with its museum.
